We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact information — name, email address, phone number, and business name provided when you enquire or engage our services.
  • Advertising account data — campaign performance metrics, spend data, and ad creative information from platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Shopify, accessed via authorised API connections to manage and monitor your advertising.
  • Website analytics — anonymised usage data such as pages visited, referral source, and device type.
  • Communications — records of correspondence between you and Alpaca Ads.

3. How we use your information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and improve our advertising management services
  • Monitor campaign performance across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Shopify on your behalf
  • Generate performance reports and actionable recommendations
  • Detect anomalies, identify optimisation opportunities, and surface performance insights
  • Communicate with you about your account and our services
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Google Ads API data

We access Google Ads data through the Google Ads API solely to provide advertising management services to our clients. This includes reading campaign metrics, performance data, and account structure information. We use this data exclusively for internal reporting, performance monitoring, and generating optimisation recommendations for the account holder.

We do not sell, share, or disclose Google Ads data to any third parties. Data accessed via the Google Ads API is stored securely and retained only for as long as necessary to provide our services. Our use of the Google Ads API complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy.

5. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on secure, encrypted infrastructure hosted in Australia (Sydney region). We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Access to client data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

6. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services in the course of providing our services:

  • Google Ads API — to access and monitor advertising campaign data
  • Meta Marketing API — to access and monitor Meta advertising data
  • Shopify API — to access e-commerce revenue and order data
  • Supabase — database hosting and infrastructure (Sydney, Australia)
  • Vercel — application hosting

Each third-party provider operates under its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.

7. Data retention

We retain client advertising data for the duration of our service agreement plus 90 days. Contact information and correspondence may be retained for up to 2 years after our last interaction. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

8. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Withdraw consent for data processing
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC)
